Responsibilities:

• Design and implement integration solutions using IBM Cloud Pak for Integration, including API Connect, App Connect, and IBM Integration Bus (IIB).

  
  

• Develop and manage APIs using API Connect, ensuring secure, scalable, and efficient API management and integration.

  
  

• Build and configure integration flows and mappings using App Connect to connect various systems, applications, and data sources.

  
  

• Maintain and enhance existing integrations developed on IBM Integration Bus (IIB), ensuring alignment with the bank's evolving integration strategy.

  
  

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather integration requirements and ensure proper implementation of integration solutions.

  
  

• Implement best practices for integration design, including error handling, logging, monitoring, and security.

  
  

• Monitor and optimize integration performance, identifying and resolving bottlenecks or issues in a timely manner.

  
  

• Work closely with DevOps teams to automate the deployment and monitoring of integration components using CI/CD pipelines.

  
  

• Ensure data security and compliance with banking regulations in all integration activities.
  

  
  

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

  
  

• 5+ years of experience as a Integration Engineer.

  
  

• Strong proficiency in IBM Cloud Pak for Integration, including hands-on experience with API Connect and App Connect.

  
  

• Deep knowledge of IBM Integration Bus (IIB) for building and managing message flows, ESQL coding, and integration solutions.

  
  

• Experience designing and developing APIs using API Connect, including lifecycle management, security, and governance.

  
  

• Familiarity with App Connect for creating integration flows, data mappings, and connecting various data sources and applications.

  
  

• Solid understanding of integration patterns, including messaging, pub/sub, request/response, and file-based integration.

  
  

• Understanding of data security best practices and compliance requirements in the banking industry.
