responsibilities:
- develop and implement an IT
strategy aligned with organizational goals.
- evaluate and recommend
technology solutions that enhance operational efficiency and competitiveness.
- oversee the design,
implementation, and maintenance of IT infrastructure, including servers,
networks, and hardware.
- ensure the reliability and
scalability of systems to meet current and future business needs.
- implement robust
cybersecurity measures to safeguard the organization’s data and information
assets.
- stay abreast of the latest
cybersecurity threats and technologies to mitigate risks.
- lead and manage the IT
team, providing guidance, mentorship, and professional development
opportunities.
- foster a collaborative and
innovative work environment.
- oversee IT projects from
conception to completion, ensuring on-time and within-budget delivery.
- collaborate with
cross-functional teams to integrate IT solutions into business processes.
- collaborate with technology
vendors to evaluate products, negotiate contracts, and ensure service level
agreements are met.
- manage relationships with
third-party service providers.
- identify opportunities for
cost savings without compromising the quality of IT services.
- develop and enforce IT
policies and procedures to ensure compliance with industry regulations and
organizational standards.
- conduct regular audits to
assess compliance and address any gaps.
- oversee user support
services, ensuring prompt and effective resolution of IT-related issues.
- develop and implement
training programs to enhance the IT proficiency of employees.
- develop and maintain
business continuity and disaster recovery plans to ensure the resilience of IT
systems & conduct regular testing and updates to these plans.
- stay informed about
emerging technologies and assess their potential impact on the organization.
- identify opportunities for
innovation and efficiency improvement through technology adoption.
- ensure the effective
management and protection of organizational data.
- leverage data analytics
tools to extract insights and inform strategic decision-making.
- manage
the day-to-day activities of the information technology function, plan and
organize work and configuration reports, job control languages, program files
and data files on the computer system(s) to ensure maximum operating
efficiency.
- collaborate
with department heads to understand their technology needs and develop
solutions to meet them.
- understand all standards
and customized features and functions of the property front office systems,
point of sale systems, and other systems, including but not limited to system
security, system reports, manager functions, system utilities, and user
functions.
- work
closely with the maintenance function to ensure the proper maintenance of all
in-room technology.
Requirements- excellent
technical skills in the field of information technology.
- relevant 4-5 years’
experience in the hospitality industry.
- 3 years’ experience using
any of these PMS applications; Cloudbeds, Fidelio, Micros, OPERA, eZee, etc.
- self-motivated and creative
problem-solver.
- ability to work both
autonomously and in a team setting.
