Job Purpose
Leading a team of engineers and technicians across multiple business units to implement industrialization activities and drive continuous improvement initiatives in accordance with manufacturing policy guidelines, detailed procedures, and work instructions
Key Accountability Areas
Cross-Functional Coordination:
- Coordinating activities across departments to monitor and achieve defined objectives.
Manufacturing Policy and Industrial Engineering:
- Planning and overseeing the deployment of manufacturing policy within respective sections.
- Assigning team members to new launch projects.
- Ensuring tools and software availability for the Industrial Engineering Team.
Process Development and Standardization:
- Supporting the development and improvement of industrial engineering procedures.
- Setting priorities for processes standard times and evaluating equipment and production process standards.
- Strategically planning for Industrial Engineering (IE) and developing optimization methods.
- Defining best IE practices and facilitating knowledge exchange between business units.
- Elaborating, optimizing, and implementing production process standards.
Financial Management and Equipment Specifications:
- Validating and approving CAPEX requirements, ensuring clarity and feasibility of the business case.
- Collaborating with the business unit to formalize technical specifications for equipment/automation solutions.
- Managing FAT and handover activities for special-purpose machines/equipment.
Quality Assurance and Process Improvement:
- Issuing and releasing PFMEA and work instructions to the shop floor.
- Following up on non-conformance and deficiencies, taking necessary actions.
- Working closely with IED Automation Section in project development.
Best Practices and Continuous Improvement:
- Coordinating with the business unit to implement recognized manufacturing practices (e.g., 6S, Kaizen) and monitoring deployment effectiveness.
- Identifying and addressing problems in the development process flow to drive continuous improvement.
Commitment and Collaboration:
- Working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure meeting commitments in terms of schedule, functionality, inventory, recovery cost, and cost targets.
Optimization and Information Exchange:
- Initiating and coordinating the optimization of production processes within business units.
- Identifying solutions for optimizing workplaces, production equipment, process cost, and material flow.
- Ensuring effective exchange of information among team members and between teams.

- Provide periodic work progress reports.
- Responsible for monitoring and controlling budgets and expenses to achieve the optimum cost efficiency.
Organizational Development:
- Develop the organizational structure according to the current requirements taking into consideration future and development plans.
- Ensure availability of job descriptions for all job roles and deployment.
Business Process Improvements:
- Develop, coordinate well-defined written systems, policies, procedures, and seek automations opportunities as much as possible.
- Should be conversant and able to navigate through IT solutions especially those relevant to his job and business.
- Promote the automated systems and using them fully, to spread its culture.

Academic Qualification
Bachelor Degree in Industrial Engineering
