IFS Technical Administrator



Position Title: IFS Technical Administrator
Job Location: Saudi Arabia
Job Type: Full Time

Job Summary & Requirements:



Education:



Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, MIS, or equivalent.

Experience:



Minimum of 5 years’ experience in IFS Applications Administration, with at least 3 years in the current IFS version. Extensive knowledge and familiarity with IFS Functional Modules including Distribution, Manufacturing, Financial, Engineering PDM, Document Management, and MRO.

Job Description:



The IFS Technical Administrator is responsible for the deployment, configuration, and administration of IFS Applications. This role involves managing IFS Replications, database administration, and providing support for data migration. The administrator will also be responsible for installing and configuring systems, performing periodic inspections, and offering daily support to application teams.

Detailed Responsibilities:



- Deploy and Configure IFS Applications:
Install and configure IFS Applications as per organizational requirements. Set up and manage IFS Replications. - Database Administration:
Handle the database administration of IFS Applications. Ensure database integrity, performance, and availability. - System Management:
Install systems and configure them after installation. Conduct periodic inspections and maintenance of systems. Monitor daily operations and follow up on system performance. - Support and Troubleshooting:
Provide daily support to application teams. Troubleshoot issues related to Microsoft Windows Active Directory, including permissions, group policy implementations, login scripting, and general maintenance. - Data Migration and Project Activities:
Interact with functional teams to assist with data migration tasks. Actively participate in project activities, ensuring seamless integration and implementation. - System Monitoring and Support:
Transfer changes between systems as required. Monitor systems to ensure smooth operations and timely resolution of issues.

Skills & Expertise:



IFS Applications Administration: Proficiency in deploying, configuring, and managing IFS Applications. Technical Knowledge: Working knowledge of servers, storage systems, Microsoft Active Directory, and Windows Server technologies including clustering, network load balancing, DHCP, DNS, and IIS. Database Management: Experience with Microsoft SQL Server. Troubleshooting: Ability to troubleshoot and manage Windows Active Directory issues. Support and Maintenance: Capability to install, configure, and maintain systems, monitor daily work, and support application teams.* Data Migration: Experience in assisting with data migration and interacting with functional teams.
