Key Responsibilities:
Technical Design and Implementation:
- Develop detailed technical designs and specifications for ICTS systems including structured cabling, network infrastructure, telecommunications, and security systems.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and clients to integrate ICTS requirements into overall building and infrastructure designs.
- Ensure designs comply with relevant standards, codes, and regulations.
Project Management:
- Manage ICTS projects from initiation through to completion, ensuring adherence to budget, schedule, and quality standards.
- Coordinate with internal teams, external consultants, contractors, and vendors to ensure seamless project execution.
- Conduct site surveys, assessments, and feasibility studies to support project planning and design decisions.
System Integration and Testing:
- Oversee the installation, configuration, and integration of ICTS systems and equipment.
- Conduct system testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting to ensure functionality and performance.
- Provide technical support during the implementation phase and address any issues that arise.
Client Engagement and Consultation:
- Act as a technical advisor to clients on ICTS-related matters, understanding their needs and requirements.
- Prepare and deliver presentations, reports, and proposals to communicate technical solutions effectively.
- Foster strong client relationships and manage expectations throughout the project lifecycle.
Quality Assurance and Compliance:
- Implement quality assurance processes to ensure ICTS designs and installations meet industry standards and client specifications.
- Conduct periodic audits and reviews to monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement corrective actions as necessary.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Telecommunications, Computer Science, or related field. Master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in ICTS engineering or related field, with demonstrated expertise in designing and implementing ICTS solutions.
- Proficiency in ICTS design software and tools such as AutoCAD, Visio, and network simulation software.
- Strong knowledge of ICTS systems including LAN/WAN networks, CCTV, access control, and telecommunications systems.
- Familiarity with relevant international and local standards and regulations (e.g., ISO, ANSI/TIA, NEC, etc.).
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects concurrently.
- Effective communication skills with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
