Job Title: IB PYP, MYP, and DP Teachers for Saudi Arabia and Bahrain
Overview
We are seeking dynamic, dedicated teachers to join our team and deliver the International Baccalaureate (IB) Primary Years Programme (PYP), Middle Years Programme (MYP), and Diploma Programme (DP). Ideal candidates are passionate about student-centered learning, skilled in inquiry-based instruction, and committed to fostering students’ intellectual, social, and personal growth. This role requires experience with the IB framework and a dedication to developing internationally-minded, reflective students across different age groups.
Key Responsibilities
- Curriculum Planning & Delivery: Design and deliver engaging, inquiry-based lessons that align with the IB PYP, MYP, or DP frameworks, fostering critical thinking, creativity, and independence.
- Student Engagement: Encourage curiosity and active learning by nurturing students’ problem-solving, research, and analytical skills, making learning relevant to global and intercultural perspectives.
- Assessment & Feedback: Use formative and summative assessments to track student progress, provide meaningful feedback, and support students in achieving their academic goals.
- Collaboration & Communication: Collaborate with coordinators and other teachers to create interdisciplinary learning experiences and maintain open communication with parents and guardians regarding student progress.
- Professional Development: Actively engage in ongoing IB training and professional development to stay current with IB standards, best practices, and program requirements.
Qualifications & Skills
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Education or relevant subject area; IB certification or training for PYP, MYP, or DP is a must; teaching qualification such as a PGCE or PGDE.
- Experience: Proven experience teaching in an IB school or inquiry-based curriculum, with the ability to adapt to different IB programs as needed.
- Skills: Excellent communication, organizational, and collaborative skills, with a commitment to creating an inclusive, supportive classroom environment and inspiring young learners.
