Day-to-Day operation
- Hygiene Inspections: Conducting regular inspections of all food production, storage, and service areas to ensure compliance with hygiene and sanitation standards.
- Training and Education: Providing food hygiene training for all new hires and ongoing training for existing staff. This includes educating staff on proper food handling practices and personal hygiene.
- Policy Implementation: Developing and implementing hygiene policies and standard operating procedures (SOPs). Ensuring that these policies are followed consistently across all departments.
- Risk Assessment: Identifying key areas of risk in various food operations and taking preemptive remedial action to mitigate these risks.
- Supplier Audits: Conducting audits of suppliers to ensure they meet the hotel's hygiene and safety standards. This includes evaluating their food safety practices and product quality.
- Pest Control Management: Managing and maintaining an effective pest control system to prevent infestations and ensure a safe environment.
- Waste Management: Overseeing the waste disposal system to ensure it is handled in a hygienic and environmentally friendly manner.
- Compliance Monitoring: Ensuring compliance with local regulatory laws and international standards in food safety. This includes conducting internal audits and evaluating corrective actions for any non-conformances.
- Documentation and Reporting: Keeping detailed records of hygiene inspections, training sessions, and any incidents. Reporting maintenance needs, accidents, and unsafe work conditions to management.
- Collaboration: Working closely with other departments, such as the kitchen, housekeeping, and engineering, to ensure a coordinated approach to hygiene and safety.
This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach to maintaining high hygiene standards. It's a vital position that helps ensure the safety and satisfaction of both guests and staff.

What we need from you



• Bachelor’s degree, higher education qualification or equivalent in relevant field
• Two to Three years’ experience in a similar role
• International luxury hotel chain background
• GCC exposure
• English Fluency is required
• Arabic Fluency is preferred
