We are partnering with one of the Leading Food Manufacturers offering a diverse range of food products in the region. They are looking for a proficient and experienced Human Resources Director to lead and oversee their HR function.
The ideal candidate will design and implement strategic HR initiatives that drive organizational growth, align with business goals, and foster a culture of excellence. A strong background in HR leadership, workforce planning, and talent development within the FMCG or food manufacturing industry is essential for success in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
1. HR Strategy & Leadership
- Develop and implement comprehensive HR strategies, policies, and procedures to align with organizational goals.
- Collaborate with executive leadership to identify and address workforce needs and ensure alignment with the companys strategic direction.
- Establish performance metrics for the HR department and track progress against key organizational objectives.
2. Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning
- Lead recruitment efforts to attract top talent and build a pipeline for critical roles.
- Oversee the development and execution of effective workforce planning strategies to support business growth.
- Conduct final interviews for senior and executive-level positions, ensuring alignment with company values and objectives.
3. Training & Development
- Design and implement employee development programs, including onboarding, leadership training, and performance management systems.
- Establish an in-house training framework that addresses current and future skill gaps.
- Lead initiatives to foster a culture of continuous learning and professional growth.
4. Employee Relations & Engagement
- Develop and promote policies that strengthen employee engagement and improve workplace satisfaction.
- Act as the primary point of contact for resolving complex employee relations issues and conflicts.
- Partner with management to implement employee-focused programs that enhance retention and morale.
5. Compensation & Benefits
- Oversee the design and administration of competitive compensation and benefits programs.
- Conduct regular market analysis to ensure pay practices remain competitive within the industry.
- Recommend enhancements to benefits packages that support employee satisfaction and well-being.
6. HR Technology & Compliance
- Lead the implementation and management of HRIS platforms to streamline HR processes and improve data accuracy.
- Ensure compliance with local labor laws and industry regulations through effective monitoring and reporting.
- Prepare periodic HR reports for executive management to support data-driven decision-making.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
- Recruitment Success Rate: Achieve a 90% success rate in meeting hiring objectives within specified timelines.
- Employee Retention: Maintain voluntary turnover below 10% annually.
- Engagement Metrics: Attain an employee satisfaction score of 85% or higher in annual surveys.
- Training Completion: Ensure 95% completion of mandatory training programs.
- Policy Compliance: Achieve full adherence to updated HR policies within six months of rollout.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Education: Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; an advanced degree (MBA or HR certifications) is preferred.
- Experience: At least 10 years of progressive HR leadership experience, preferably within the FMCG or food manufacturing sector.
- Proven expertise in workforce planning, talent acquisition, and employee engagement strategies.
- Strong understanding of HRIS systems (e.g., SuccessFactors, SAP).
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and decision-making skills.
