Job Description:

You as a Hub Manager Middle East & Africa, BU High Voltage Products will be part of Hitachi Energy business based in Dammam, Saudi Arabia. You will lead our organization into a new growth phase, driving profitable growth and operational excellence in our strongly growing High Voltage Products factory in Middle East & Africa.

Your responsibilities          

• Implementing the Global Business Unit strategy in the hub within the area of responsibility and providing input to the business.
• Performance targeting as full P&L responsibility, ensuring achievement, and establishing targets through regular oversight and definition of improvement actions as needed, preparing annual budgets and is accountable for their execution and achievement, including workforce plan, delivering operational or project targets to ensure customer satisfaction and improve net promoter score (NPS) and driving productivity, performance, and cost optimization.
• Leading and managing the manufacturing production units as allocated by the business unit and implements local plans to achieve targets and improving manufacturing technology and competence in line with business unit or product group strategy.
• Executing the sourcing strategy in line with business unit strategy and processes and managing all local Supply Chain Management (SCM) requirements to meet targets.
• Executing Quality and Operational Excellence Business Unit or Product Group operational excellence strategy and quality standards, driving executional excellence across all products or projects or services and processes through target setting, monitoring, and benchmarking for innovative processes, maintaining compliance with quality standards and develops systems for capturing, monitoring, and improving day to day operations and driving productivity, delivery performance and cost optimization.
• Overseeing all marketing and sales activities within hub and accountable for operational sales including demand orders.
• Supporting and executing global R&D projects by providing and developing R&D competencies and ensuring project delivery and achieves agreed project targets.
• Implementing HSE and business compliance standards and regulations within the units, ensures a safe working environment, continuous HSE improvement process and integrity performance and personally lives the Hitachi Energy values and group standards.
• Implementing and ensuring compliance with global and local standards, rules, tools, policies, and processes related to operations or project execution and sharing functional best practices and lessons learned across the organization.
• Ensuring that the area of responsibility is properly organized, staffed, skilled and directed and guiding, motivating, and developing direct and indirect subordinates within HR policies as People leadership and development.

Your background             

• A bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering field is required.
• Minimum 15 years of commercial experience in leading and growing manufacturing organization in the Middle East is preferred.
• Strong leadership with the ability to motivate and inspire employee in multicultural organizations.
• Should be Strong collaborator who can successfully navigate in international matrix organizations.
• Proficiency in both spoken & written English language is required.
