Position: HSSE Manager (Railway Experience)

Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly experienced HSSE Manager with railway experience to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The HSSE Manager will be responsible for overseeing all health, safety, security, and environmental aspects of our railway projects in the region. This is a full-time, permanent position with excellent opportunities for career growth and development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement HSSE policies and procedures for railway projects in compliance with local regulations and international standards
- Conduct regular site inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with HSSE standards
- Provide HSSE training and support to project teams, contractors, and subcontractors
- Investigate accidents, incidents, and near-misses, and recommend corrective actions to prevent future occurrences
- Develop emergency response plans and conduct emergency drills to ensure preparedness for potential incidents
- Monitor and report on HSSE performance and provide recommendations for improvement
- Liaise with clients and relevant authorities to ensure compliance with HSSE requirements
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to continuously improve HSSE processes and procedures
- Manage a team of HSSE professionals and provide guidance and support as needed
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Occupational Health and Safety, or a related field
- Minimum of 15 years of experience in HSSE management, with at least 5 years in railway projects
- Strong knowledge of HSSE regulations and standards in Saudi Arabia and internationally
- Experience in developing and implementing HSSE policies, procedures, and training programs
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Fluent in English, Arabic language skills are a plus
- Professional certifications such as NEBOSH, OSHA, or ISO 45001 are preferred
