Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and monitor HSE policies, procedures, and guidelines for the construction project.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with local regulations and company standards.
- Provide HSE training to site staff and contractors to promote awareness and best practices in safety.
- Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses, and recommend corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
- Collaborate with project management and subcontractors to resolve HSE issues and implement preventive measures.
- Maintain accurate records of HSE performance, including incident reports, inspections, and training documentation.
- Liaise with regulatory authorities and clients to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
- Participate in HSE meetings, risk assessments, and emergency response drills as required.
- Keep abreast of industry trends, developments, and best practices in HSE management.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 20 years of experience in HSE management, with at least 5 years in Saudi Arabia.
- Level 6 diploma in Occupational Health and Safety (OH&S) or equivalent.
- Certification from the Saudi Arabian General Organization for Social Insurance (GOSI) or equivalent.
- ISO 45001 Lead Auditor Certification.
- Strong personality with excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Experience in building construction projects is essential.
- Fluency in Arabic and English is preferred.
- Must be currently residing in Saudi Arabia and available for face-to-face client interviews.
