As a HSE Specialist at Hempel, you will be actively involved in the execution and supervision of the QHSE activities in Saudi Arabia and report all relevant details to the Factory Manager.
Here are some key responsibilities to look forward to
Facilitates and supports Jeddah factory and warehouses within Saudi Arabia on QHSE matters.
To ensure the QHSE activities are in continuous compliance with customers, regulatory, and Hempel Group requirements.
Coordinate all QHSE activities of Hempel Saudi Arabia.
Assist RQM in aligning QHSE activities and implementation of strategic QHSE projects.
Plans, carry-out, and follow-up on internal audits of Hempel Saudi Arabia, as directed by RQM.
Collection and monitoring of data from all functions within Hempel Saudi Arabia for the agreed set of QHSE KPIs and report, as directed by the FM/ RQM.
Lead in investigating accidents and incidents including 5box and report to FM/RQM.
Lead and execute implementation of agreed corrective and preventive actions for all matters about NCRs, accidents/incidents/spillages, etc.
Lead Safety Excellence,6S, CI & Waste management, and other related areas of Hempel’s Sustainability agenda.
Coordinate and lead fire drill activities of Hempel factories, warehouses, and other offices within KSA.
Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures at all times.
Coordinate with MODON/GAMEP and other authorities in KSA related to health safety as required and directed by the Hempel Management.
This role will be based in Jeddah (Saudi Arabia) and reports into Factory Manager.
Furthermore, we expect that you have
Minimum Diploma in Engineering
Bachelor of Engineering will be an advantage
NEBOSH, IOSH certification / Diploma in HSE from Globally recognized institutions
2–4 years’ experience in QHSE related tasks in any manufacturing industry
Knowledgeable and certified in ISO9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 Management systems auditing
Good MS Office skills in Excel, Word and PowerPoint and ERP systems
Good command of spoken and written English and Arabic
