  • Implementing and monitoring HSE policies and procedures to promote a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Monitor the compliance of Regulatory requirements and maintain Legal Register upto date.
  • Ensure regulatory reports are completed accurately, reviewed thoroughly, and submitted on time.
  • Conduct daily HSE inspections and maintain a written log which includes area/operation inspected, date of inspection, identified hazards, recommended corrective actions, estimated and actual dates of corrections and ensure report closure.
  • Ensure HSE regulations are observed, personal protective equipment’s are worn, safe working practices including Industrial Hygiene standards are followed and corrects obvious hazards immediately or reports them to the proper personnel.
  • Coordinate and assist in maintaining documents and records required during internal and external audits (customer audit), Certification audits, compliance audits etc. and make sure required facility arrangements in place.
  • Implement Waste Management System and maintain upto date disposal records.
  • Ensure 3rd party testing is done on time for all lifting equipments, loose gears, pressure vessels, air compressors and air receivers and maintain records.
  • Preparation of risk assessments, implement and train the employees on control measures.
  • Conduct mock fire drills as per the plan and maintain reports.
  • Deal with Crisis (Emergency) situations like Fire, Medical, Gas Leak, Chemical, Violence etc. and prepare necessary report and coordinate with Regulatory Authorities wherever necessary.

·To monitor all electronic security systems including fire alarms, CCTV and patrol management and be competent in their operation. To immediately report any systems malfunction.


  • Assists reporting Managers with Environmental compliance measures and record keeping.
  • Lead investigation of all incidents and ensure proper records are completed and submitted; assist in implementation of corrective actions and ensure “lessons learned” are communicated throughout the company and are incorporated into the program, if necessary.
  • Assists in the creation of safety training programs, schedules employee training and tracks all employee training compliance and prepares training evaluation report and recommendations for improvements.
  • Assists with safety orientation to Customers, suppliers, visitors whenever applicable.
  • Assists with new employee on-boarding: safety orientation.
  • Ensure HSE related checklists are implemented and maintained.
  • Execute corrective actions for the observations or Non Conformances noticed during audits within the timelines.
  • Budget tracking and assist during yearly budget preparation.
  • Always communicate with Local authorities like MODON, etc. on seeking any support on circular updates, change in regulations or guidelines etc.
  • Oversees the daily workflow, schedules, and assignments of security staff. To act as a first line support for security staff who encounter incidents or difficulties and escalate as appropriate to the Line Manager.
  • Ensure that Annual Maintenance Contracts are in place and valid for the identified services (e.g. Fire Alarm and Fire Safety System, Housekeeping, Pest control, Gas system maintenance, waste management, facilities maintenance etc.) and make sure that services are availed as agreed in contracts.
  • Perform any other job/task assigned by the reporting Managers to accomplish department objectives

Requirements

Education/ Qualifications


·High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.


·Diploma in NEBOSH or any Related Technical Certificates


Experience


·At least 3 years of experience in administering health & safety compliance in manufacturing sites along with experience in facility maintenance.


·Minimum 2 years of security management experience


Functional Skills & Specific Knowledge


·Skills in conducting training in health, safety and environment.


·Analyzes Root Cause Methods and Accident/ Incident Investigation Techniques.


·Extensive knowledge of security protocol and procedures.


·Good management and supervisory skills.


·Excellent written and verbal communication skills.


·Ability to provide training on HSE policies and procedures.


·Good understanding of office systems


       ·Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
