Job Description

The HSE Engineer plays a critical role in ensuring the health, safety, and environmental standards within the Technical Maintenance & Repair industry. This position is essential for maintaining compliance with local and international regulations while promoting a culture of safety and environmental stewardship. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in health, safety, and environmental management, with a focus on risk assessment and mitigation strategies. They will work closely with various teams to implement safety protocols and ensure that all operations are conducted in a safe and environmentally responsible manner.

Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures.
  2. Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to identify potential hazards.
  3. Provide training and support to staff on health and safety practices.
  4. Investigate incidents and accidents to determine root causes and recommend corrective actions.
  5. Monitor compliance with HSE regulations and standards.
  6. Prepare and maintain HSE documentation and reports.
  7. Collaborate with management to promote a safety-first culture.
  8. Assess risks associated with new projects and provide recommendations.
  9. Participate in emergency response planning and drills.
  10. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in HSE management.
