Job Description

The HSC Manager plays a pivotal role in ensuring the health, safety, and environmental standards of an organization are met and maintained. This position is crucial for fostering a safe work environment, minimizing risks, and ensuring compliance with local and international regulations. The HSC Manager will lead initiatives to promote a culture of safety and sustainability within the organization, driving continuous improvement in health, safety, and environmental performance. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing HSC programs and a strong understanding of regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities:

  1. Develop, implement, and manage health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures.
  2. Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance with HSC regulations.
  3. Provide training and support to staff on health and safety practices.
  4. Investigate incidents and accidents, preparing reports and recommending corrective actions.
  5. Collaborate with management to promote a culture of safety and environmental responsibility.
  6. Monitor and report on HSC performance metrics to senior management.
  7. Stay updated on industry trends and regulatory changes affecting HSC practices.
  8. Lead emergency response planning and drills to ensure preparedness.
  9. Engage with external stakeholders, including regulatory bodies and community organizations.
  10. Develop and manage budgets for HSC initiatives and programs.
