Job Description

The HS Managerwill be responsible for developing, implementing, and improving health and safety policies, ensuring compliance with regulations, conducting risk assessments, and promoting a strong HS culture across the organization. Additionally, the role includes managing HS resources, conducting audits, overseeing training, investigating accidents, and leading a high-performing safety team.


Key Accountabilities
  • Establish and implement health and safety policies aligned with regulations.
  • Identify hazards and conduct risk assessments to prevent incidents.
  • Ensure all construction activities comply with health and safety laws.
  • Conduct safety training for employees, contractors, and stakeholders.
  • Perform regular inspections to monitor safety compliance and address issues.
  • Investigate accidents, determine root causes, and implement corrective actions.
  • Develop emergency response plans and ensure staff awareness.
  • Ensure proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) on-site.
  • Promote open discussions about safety concerns and best practices.
  • Ensure contractors comply with the company’s safety policies.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of incidents, training, and inspections.
  • Update policies based on industry trends and feedback.
  • Conduct audits to assess and improve safety performance.
  • Communicate with authorities to ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Organize safety briefings to discuss key risks and safety measures.
  • Ensure all incidents are reported, investigated, and documented.
  • Encourage employee participation in safety initiatives and hazard reporting.
Knowledge, Skills, and Experience

We Are Looking For:


  • Bachelor’s degree in Safety Management, Engineering, or related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in HS, including 2+ years in a managerial role.
  • Knowledge of environmental health and sustainability regulations related to construction.
  • Strong knowledge of HS regulations, standards, and compliance requirements.
  • Experience with ISO certification processes and occupational health & safety qualifications (e.g., NEBOSH, OSHA, CSP).
  • Experience working with IPO-listed companies and understanding regulatory compliance related to public entities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Strong leadership, risk management, and communication skills.
  • Ability to develop and implement HS policies, training programs, and audits.
  • Experience in conducting risk assessments and accident investigations.
  • Familiarity with safety audits, both internal and external.
  • Ability to lead and coach a high-performing HS team.
