Role Overview
We are seeking a professional to join the People & Culture Team at Calo as an HR Specialist. This role involves a variety of administrative duties, including owning the processes of onboarding, offboarding, and crossboarding, as well as tracking employee records. The HR Specialist will also be responsible for driving employee well-being initiatives and fostering a positive workplace culture, while handling sensitive information with the utmost confidentiality. Excellent organizational skills are essential for this position.


Main Responsibilities


  • Maintain records of employee related data (payroll, personal information, vacations, turnover rates, etc.) in the database and ensure that all staffing requirements are met
  • Organize, streamline, and oversee the onboarding process and schedule for new hires
  • Lead and maintain the crossboarding and offboarding process for all employees
  • Process employees’ queries and respond in a timely manner
  • Assist in developing and implementing HR policies and procedures
  • Support team leaders and managers in performance management processes
  • Develop initiatives focused on employee wellness, well-being, and engagement through events
  • Foster a healthy workplace and promote cultural development
  • Prepare and submit reports on HR related activities
  • Work on assigned HR projects, such as collecting employees feedback
  • Carry out any tasks assigned within the scope of competence

Ideal Candidate


Qualifications


  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, HR, or any related field
  • 3+ years of experience in HR focused on Employee Experience
  • Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Arabic
