Job Description
We are seeking a professional and reliable Household Housekeeper to ensure the upkeep and cleanliness of a private residence. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, a proactive attitude, and the ability to manage household chores efficiently. This role requires the housekeeper to maintain the household to a high standard, ensuring a clean, organized, and comfortable environment for the residents.
Responsibilities
- Perform a wide range of cleaning duties, including dusting, vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, and polishing surfaces throughout the home.
- Clean and maintain all areas of the house, including bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, living areas, and outdoor spaces (as applicable).
- Laundry duties, including washing, ironing, folding, and organizing clothes and linens.
- Organize and maintain closets, cabinets, and storage spaces.
- Replenish household supplies, such as cleaning products, toiletries, and pantry items as needed.
- Care for special items such as fine china, silverware, and delicate fabrics, as required.
- Perform minor household repairs or arrange for maintenance services when necessary.
- Assist with light cooking or meal preparation, as requested.
- Manage household waste and recycling procedures.
- Adhere to the house’s safety and security policies at all times.
- Report any maintenance issues or damages to the employer promptly.
- Handle errands such as grocery shopping, dry cleaning, and other household needs.
- Coordinate with other household staff (if any) to ensure smooth operations.
