Job Summary
The Host Acquisition Lead is responsible for expanding and sustaining Gathern’s property supply by reactivating offline units, leveraging VIP hosts for referrals, integrating with property management systems, and conducting offline sales efforts. Their primary goal is to accelerate unit acquisition and ensure a seamless onboarding experience for property owners, ultimately driving growth in the long-term stays segment.
Responsibilities
1. Reactivation & Retention of Offline Units
•Identify and reach out to property owners whose units have gone offline.
•Analyze reasons for unit deactivation and address concerns to facilitate reactivation.
•Work closely with the Account Management team to ensure unit reactivation is smooth and sustainable.
2. Referral-Based Acquisition through VIP Hosts
•Develop and manage a structured referral program in collaboration with VIP hosts.
•Track referral performance and ensure top hosts are incentivized to bring in new units.
•Maintain close relationships with VIP hosts to encourage continuous referrals.
3. Integration with Property Management Companies
•Collaborate with the Product Team to ensure integration tools are developed and optimized.
•Identify key Property Management Systems (PMS) for integration to streamline bulk onboarding.
•Work with tech teams to resolve integration challenges and improve system compatibility.
4. Fast-Tracking Onboarding & Request Fulfillment
•Support new property owners through the onboarding process, reducing turnaround time.
•Ensure that property owners’ operational needs are met by liaising with the Account Management team.
•Provide training and guidance on platform usage to newly onboarded property owners.
5. Offline Sales & Direct Outreach to Hotels & Serviced Apartments
•Conduct in-person visits to hotels and serviced apartments to acquire new listings.
•Build relationships with key stakeholders in the hospitality industry.
•Present Gathern’s value proposition to property owners and negotiate favorable terms.
