Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Homeroom Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing a classroom of students, fostering a positive learning environment, and supporting the academic and social development of each student. The Homeroom Teacher will serve as the primary point of contact for students and parents, promoting a sense of community within the classroom.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Create and implement engaging lesson plans that align with the curriculum and educational standards.
  • Manage daily classroom activities, routines, and student behavior to ensure a productive learning environment.
  • Develop strong relationships with students to support their academic and emotional well-being.
  • Communicate regularly with parents regarding student progress, behavior, and classroom activities.
  • Organize and oversee class events, field trips, and community service projects.
  • Collaborate with other teachers and staff to support student learning and school initiatives.
  • Assess and evaluate student performance through assignments, tests, and observations.
  • Provide guidance and support for students in social and emotional matters.


Skills

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field.
  • 2 years of experience in classroom management and teaching preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to create a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment.
