Danone MENA is looking for a talented Healthcare Nutrition Field Manager (Sales Manager) to be based in Jeddah- KSA like you!
In the context of Specialized Nutrition MENA, the candidate will be responsible to grow the category and gain share and also to further accelerate our business locally through high performing sales teams. This is done in line with corporate guidelines and strategies by planning and executing, sales plans, supervising sales teams and developing partnerships with HCPs & medical institutions as well as our distributors in the country. In summary, manage the day-to-day health care nutrition and sales operations and have overall business accountability.
The candidate will also carry the following responsibilities:
- Leading the Sales teams:
- Continuously improve the day-to-day operations and personal development of Sales teams and ensure that their focus is in line with corporate strategies
- Monitor the samples usage.
- Set sales targets & follow up with distributor sales team.
- Leading and developing the sales teams in collaboration with HR business partner
- Setting & Maintaining budgets
- Setting and monitoring of all budgets for the business especially related to medical support, samples.
- Supporting campaigns & materials
- Follow-up with the relevant Marketing departments and implement supporting campaigns and materials in the market
- Annual operations plan
- Working with the head of Country to set challenging budgets which are further broken down per area and per sales team member and to follow it with them.
- Developing & maintaining the business relationship with distributors
- Maintain good relationship with distributors and communicate our business plans and objectives with them.
- Constant monitoring and follow up to ensure that logistics problems are timely resolved.
- Regulatory / government affairs
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with KOL's in MOH and other govt. authorities as well as private institutions to ensure that Danone's business interests are maintained and developed.
- Business Planning
- Assess and understand the HCPs, KOLs, channels & competition.
- Drive and build long term plans and align & establish cross functional teams to reach the long-term targets set together with Head of KSA.
- Plan, prioritize and execute all the agreed actions.

To be successful in the role you should ideally have:
Bachelor and Experience:
- Area to be covered: Jeddah
- Years of experience: no less than 5 years of experience in total
- Minimum years of experience with Danone: 3 years
- Category experience: Baby & Medical Nutrition
