Primary Role Focus The Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) Middle East Team Lead is responsible for ensuring compliance with occupational health, safety, and environmental regulations across operations in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA). The role ensures alignment with Packers Plus' HSE policies while maintaining compliance with customer-specific standards, including those of Saudi Aramco, ADNOC, KOC, and PDO. The role requires frequent travel. Key Tasks and Responsibilities HSE Team Lead
Lead and direct HSE activities, ensuring alignment with organizational and functional goals.
Ensure compliance with Packers Plus' Health and Safety Program and customer HSE standards (Saudi Aramco, ADNOC, KOC, PDO).
Conduct and oversee hazard identification, risk assessments, and worksite inspections.
Develop and implement safety programs in accordance with customer and industry-specific HSE requirements.
Ensure regulatory compliance with applicable laws and industry standards in KSA and other operational regions.
Conduct and oversee incident investigations, root cause analysis, and implement corrective and preventive actions.
Maintain and update emergency response plans and oversee evacuation drills.
Lead safety meetings, coordinate management reviews, and ensure continuous improvement in HSE performance.
Facilitate training programs, including HSE orientation, worksite safety practices, and customer-specific HSE training.
Ensure proper documentation and reporting of safety statistics, audits, and compliance findings.
Support the preparation of tenders by meeting all customer HSE requirements.
Collaborate with operations, engineering, and other departments to ensure HSE best practices are integrated into daily activities.
Monitor contractor and subcontractor compliance with customer-specific HSE policies.
Assist with the preparation of tenders and meet all Customer/Client requirements.
Position Requirements Experience and Skills
Minimum of 5 years of experience in the oil and gas industry, with a focus on field operations and manufacturing HSE programs.
Experience with customer-specific HSE management systems, including compliance with Saudi Aramco, ADNOC, KOC, and PDO HSE standards.
Strong knowledge of ISO 45001, ISO 14001, and API Q2 standards.
Proven track record of conducting and facilitating safety training programs.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including report writing and presentations.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
Experience with conducting HSE audits and ensuring compliance with local and international safety regulations.
Ability to manage multiple projects and travel frequently within the region.
Education and Training
Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in a safety-related field
Certified HSE Professional accreditation (e.g., NEBOSH, OSHA, or equivalent preferred).
Standard First Aid with AED

Position is Safety Sensitive; therefore it is subject to pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol testing
Subject to post-incident and reasonable-cause drug and alcohol testing.
Extended periods of sitting at a desk and use of a computer, keyboard and mouse as well as periods of extended walking in a busy production shop with noise and moving equipment.
