To support our site set-up in Saudi-Arabia on customer site in King Abdullah Economic City (KAEC) we are looking for an experienced, trustworthy and committed Health And Safety Manager.


The Health and Safety Manager plays a crucial role in ensuring a safe working environment within the automotive manufacturing sector. This position involves developing, implementing, and overseeing health and safety policies and procedures to minimize risks and ensure compliance with legal regulations. The manager will work closely with various departments to promote a culture of safety and health awareness among employees. This role requires a proactive approach to identify potential hazards and implement effective solutions to mitigate risks.

Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement health and safety policies and procedures tailored to the automotive manufacturing environment.
  2. Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
  3. Provide training and guidance to employees on health and safety practices, ensuring they understand their responsibilities.
  4. Investigate accidents and incidents to determine root causes and recommend corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
  5. Maintain accurate records of safety inspections, incidents, and training sessions, ensuring documentation is up-to-date and compliant.
  6. Collaborate with management to develop emergency response plans and conduct drills to prepare employees for potential emergencies.
  7. Stay updated on industry regulations and best practices, ensuring the organization remains compliant with local and international safety standards.
  8. Promote a culture of safety by leading safety meetings and encouraging employee participation in safety initiatives.
  9. Monitor and report on safety performance metrics, providing insights for continuous improvement.
  10. Act as the primary point of contact for all health and safety-related inquiries and concerns within the organization.

Preferred Candidate:

  1. Certifications in health and safety management (NEBOSH Diploma or NVQ) is Mandatory
  2. Proven experience in health and safety management within the automotive or manufacturing industry.
  3. Strong knowledge of local and international health and safety regulations.
  4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with employees at all levels.
  5. Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions based on safety performance metrics.
  6. Proactive mindset with a strong commitment to promoting a culture of safety.
  7. Experience in conducting training sessions and workshops.
  8. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
  9. Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  10. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
