Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and experienced individual to take on the Health Safety & Security Managers role at King Fahad Cultural Center. A renowned global venue operator is looking to build a highly motivated team to support its operations at a newly refurbished venue in Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. King Fahad Cultural Center (KFCC) features a 2750-seat main auditorium and will present world class productions across multiple genres. With its state-of-the-art facilities, KFCC is set to become a leading venue for cultural activities in Riyadh. The venue will host an extensive range of events leveraging the latest technological advancements.


Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement comprehensive health and safety policies and procedures tailored to the entertainment and events management sectors.
  2. Conduct regular risk assessments and audits to identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions.
  3. Provide training and guidance to staff on health and safety practices, ensuring compliance with local regulations.
  4. Monitor and report on health and safety performance metrics, making recommendations for continuous improvement.
  5. Collaborate with management to ensure that health and safety standards are integrated into all operational processes.
  6. Lead investigations into accidents and incidents, preparing detailed reports and recommendations for prevention.
  7. Stay updated on relevant health and safety legislation and industry best practices.
  8. Coordinate emergency response drills and ensure that all staff are familiar with emergency procedures.
  9. Engage with external regulatory bodies and stakeholders to maintain compliance and promote a culture of safety.
  10. Prepare and present health and safety reports to senior management and stakeholders.

Preferred Candidate:

  1. Proven experience in a health and safety management role, preferably within the entertainment or events management sectors.
  2. Strong knowledge of local and international health and safety regulations.
  3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders.
  4. Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  5. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  6. Relevant certifications such as NEBOSH or IOSH.
  7. Proficient in developing training materials and conducting workshops.
  8. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  9. Commitment to promoting a positive health and safety culture.
  10. Experience in emergency management and response planning.
