Health and Safety Engineer - FMCG | Saudi Arabia

We are seeking a dedicated and meticulous Health and Safety Engineer for a prominent and leading company in the food and beverage sector, renowned for its commitment to excellence and innovation.

• Review new machinery and equipment plans to ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Conduct regular safety inspections of plant facilities, including employee accommodations and machinery.
• Educate employees on safety policies and procedures through safety and first aid training.
• Implement and monitor hazard control programs, including the installation of safety equipment.
• Investigate workplace accidents, prepare reports, and implement measures to prevent recurrence.
• Conduct environmental tests for harmful gases and ensure compliance with health and safety laws.
• Supervise contractors, inspect their equipment, and issue work permits when necessary.
• Perform regular safety audits of production plants and distribution centers.

We are Looking for:

• Diploma in Occupational Health & Safety (OHS), Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering.
• NEBOSH certification is mandatory.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in safety roles, preferably in beverage production plants.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, knowledge of ISO certifications, and proficiency in risk assessment and accident investigation.
• Interaction with government departments for documentation, policies, and safety programs.
• Requires knowledge of firefighting, fire alarm systems, and risk assessments.
