Job Description

Responsibilities:


  • Lead and manage the Testing and Operation Department, ensuring effective coordination of activities and resources.
  • Oversee trial operations in large-scale projects, ensuring compliance with project timelines and quality benchmarks.
  • Provide expertise in site construction, engineering, project control, environment, health and safety, contract management, project closure, and quality.
  • Implement accident-free work execution philosophy to ensure the safety of all project personnel.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives and talent development within the construction team.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, both verbally and in writing.
  • Utilize global experience, with a preference for expertise in construction projects in Saudi Arabia.
  • Develop and implement environmental control plans for project construction works to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive testing and operation strategies to ensure the successful and timely completion of project milestones.
  • Lead and coordinate the testing activities, including the planning, execution, and evaluation of all testing procedures.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of testing procedures and make recommendations for improvements to enhance project quality.
  • Collaborate with other departments to address any issues or concerns related to testing and operations, ensuring seamless project execution.
  • Provide regular updates and reports to senior management on the progress of testing and operation activities, highlighting any risks or challenges.
  • Monitor and analyze key performance indicators to track the efficiency and effectiveness of testing and operation processes.
  • Collaborate with external stakeholders, contractors, and consultants to ensure alignment with project requirements and quality standards.
  • Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging trends in testing and operation management, incorporating relevant advancements into project strategies.
  • Conduct periodic reviews and audits of testing and operation procedures to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
  • Mentor and coach team members to enhance their skills and capabilities in testing and operation management.

Essential Requirements:


  • Degree in engineering from a Ministry of Education-accredited university.
  • Minimum of 15 years of experience in large projects, with at least 10 years as a Test Manager overseeing trial operations in significant projects.
  • Extensive experience in governmental, semi-governmental, and international company construction sites.
  • Proficiency in all stages of construction operations, including site engineering, construction techniques, and site management.
  • Strong track record of implementing continuous improvement initiatives and talent development in construction.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Global experience preferred, particularly in Saudi Arabia.
  • Knowledge of environmental control plans for project construction works.
