A Director is a senior-level position and is considered a key leader within the retail team.
You will play a pivotal role in our organization. The Retail team consists of 2 divisions: Retail Leasing (transactions) and Retail Consulting (advisory), of which each has a leading Director in place. As the overarching Head of Retail, your role would be to work together with these leaders and their teams, to ensure high quality of project delivery. Your key responsibility will be to build strong relationships with local players, ensuring trust and connectivity, developing new business opportunities, having an overall overview of our projects and ensuring client expectations are met at all times.
Main Responsabilities:

Business Development & Customer Relationship Management:



•Cultivate and maintain strong client relationships, understanding their unique goals and challenges in the Retail sector in KSA.
•Act as the primary point of contact for clients and ensure exceptional service delivery.
•Lead in the review, analysis, and development of strategies for new business opportunities.
•Identify new business opportunities, participate in client acquisition, and contribute to the growth and success of the consulting and leasing practice.
•Lead client communications during project execution as needed.

Execution of Assignment & One JLL:



•Work as one team with the KSA leads for Retail Consulting and Retail Leasing in ensuring targets are met and team collaboration.
•Ensure at all times that cooperation prevails between the various JLL departments in the interest of clients.
•‘Big Idea’ for project development models.
•Building close relationships with other JLL team leaders, and ensuring all teams work seamlessly and closely together.

Project Leadership:



•Be the assigned project leader for those assignment where the Head of Retail Leasing and Retail Consulting have agreed with you, to play an active role.
•Mentor, coach, and develop junior team members, fostering their professional growth and ensuring the highest quality of service delivery. Enhance and promote a customer-centric culture throughout the organization. Respect and adhere to the corporate Code of Business Ethics.

Strategic Advisory:



•Develop and present strategic recommendations to clients, offering innovative solutions to Retail challenges, such as asset optimization, tenant mix, positioning, recommended operators, expected cashflow., etc.
•Conduct in-depth research, market analysis, and data-driven assessments to provide clients with actionable insights and recommendations. Stay up to date with industry trends and regulations.
•Evaluate investment opportunities, perform financial modeling, and assess the feasibility of a Retail asset.
•Prepare comprehensive reports, presentations, and documentation to effectively communicate findings and recommendations to clients where needed.
•Stay informed about local, state, and federal real estate and Retail regulations and ensure that clients are in compliance with all relevant laws.

Professional Competencies



•Min. 10 years’ experience, preferably with retail companies (retailers, retail developers or retail consulting) and “big four” is an advantage.
•Previous technical background in Retail (operation and consulting).
•Strong knowledge of the Retail industry in KSA in general, and broad knowledge of the different market dynamics of the GCC countries.
•Knowledge of local operators and developers and how they operate.
•Relevant degree ( such as finance / economics / business preferred / Architecture and design).
•Good report writing skills.
•Ability to prepare succinct Power Point presentations.
•Excellent understanding of MS Excel and financial modelling.
•Corporate written communication.
•Knowledge of the local KSA market, geographies, Giga projects, Vision 2030, etc.
•Good administrative and IT skills.
•Good numeracy and analytical skills
•Strong customer relations skills and ability to work and integrate in a busy team #LI-LR3
