Role Purpose
The Head of Public Safety Programs serves as the right hand to the Executive Director of Public Safety, providing strategic support and operational oversight. This role requires a high level of organizational skills, strategic thinking, and effective communication. The Head of Public Safety Programs will be responsible for ensuring the smooth functioning of the executive office and coordinating key initiatives across the organization. He plays a pivotal role in facilitating meetings and special events that are crucial for strategic alignment and team cohesion. The Head of Public Safety Programs shall be leading teams, easing communications, and uniting people across Public Safety functions to keep them moving forward,
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES & ACTIVITIES
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Executive Director of Public Safety in developing and executing strategic plans, identifying key priorities, and making critical decisions.
- Oversee and coordinate initiatives and projects across Public Safety functions
- Managing Public Safety-wide programs and initiatives
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the executive office, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness.
- Manage high-priority projects, coordinating cross-functional teams and tracking progress.
- Overseeing special projects per the Executive Director and other executives' direction
- Leading strategic planning processes and ensuring the alignment of ideas between the Executive Director and other leaders
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including NEOM sectors, executives, and external partners.
- Providing hands-on support to transform ideas into reality and monitor their progress.
- Lead and manage a team of staff members, providing guidance and support.
- Gather, analyze, and synthesize information to support decision-making.
- Setting key performance indicators to measure and improve team performance.
- Serve as a key communicator, drafting memos, presentations, and other documents.
- Preparing the Executive Director and other leaders for upcoming meetings and providing them with all the necessary information
- Guiding department heads with expert advice to enhance overall team efficiency.
- Pinpointing and addressing core issues within business processes.
- Evaluating risk factors when making critical business decisions.
- Completing special projects and initiatives with skillful oversight and support.
- Leading meetings and workshops with meticulous planning and coordination.
- Identifying areas of improvement across the organization and making actionable recommendations.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience
- Extensive experience in a senior leadership role, preferably in a corporate setting.
- Proven track record of success in a fast-paced, demanding environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, political science, or a related field.
- Master's degree in business administration (MBA) or a related field preferred.
