We are seeking a seasoned Head of Freight Logistics Sales to join a leading logistics company in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This role is exclusive to Saudi Nationals and requires a strong background in freight sales, business development, and leadership within the logistics industry.
About the Role
As the Head of Freight Logistics Sales, you will be responsible for driving sales strategy, expanding market share, and leading a high-performing sales team. You will develop and execute strategic plans to secure new business, strengthen relationships with key stakeholders, and ensure revenue growth across air, sea, and land freight solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and develop the freight sales team, setting targets and driving performance
- Identify new business opportunities and develop strategies for market penetration
- Build and maintain relationships with key clients, partners, and government entities
- Develop and execute pricing and sales strategies to enhance profitability
- Collaborate with internal departments to ensure smooth supply chain and logistics operations
- Stay updated on market trends, competition, and regulatory requirements
- Report directly to senior leadership, providing insights and sales forecasts
Requirements
- Saudi National with a strong background in freight and logistics sales
- 10+ years of experience in logistics, with a focus on freight forwarding
- Proven track record of sales leadership and revenue growth
- Strong network and relationships within the logistics and supply chain industry
- Ability to lead and motivate teams, negotiate complex contracts, and develop high-impact sales strategies
- Strong understanding of freight forwarding (air, sea, land), customs clearance, and trade regulations in Saudi Arabia
- Excellent communication and business development skills
