​Role Overview:


The Head of Brand and Content will play a key role in shaping the brand experience and driving audience development. The focus will be on enhancing engagement through brand marketing, content creation, organic social media, and PR. You will lead a team of 11, including 3 direct reports, and work closely with senior management to drive brand strategy and execution across multiple touchpoints.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Lead brand, content, and PR initiatives across the portfolio.


  • Establish brand governance and consistency across various platforms and events.


  • Own and represent the voice of the brands, ensuring alignment with overall business goals.


  • Collaborate with content, editorial, digital, and commercial marketing teams to drive audience growth and engagement.


  • Develop and implement cross-brand messaging and campaigns.


  • Oversee the management of portfolio websites and lead top-of-funnel (TOF) activities for multiple products.


  • Coordinate PR activities and agency support across the portfolio.


  • Forge impactful partnerships with agencies to deliver award-winning campaigns.


  • Lead the development and management of organic social media presence.


  • Promote team development, ensuring motivation and collaborative work within the brand and content team.


  • Advocate for change management with a positive and constructive approach to challenges.


  • Collaborate with senior leadership, marketing, and sales teams to ensure alignment with strategic business objectives.


  • Leverage data and insights to drive content creation and ensure effectiveness across all channels.


  • Manage resources within the brand and content vertical, ensuring efficient collaboration and delivery.


  • Drive the execution of new, strategic, data-driven marketing initiatives to maximize conversions from key audiences.


  • Work with event marketers to achieve KPIs across the portfolio.


  • Analyze trends and use insights to optimize content strategies and campaigns.


  • Enhance customer journeys by developing and standardizing content strategies across multiple touchpoints.


  • Increase engagement and value across social media channels, contributing to business growth.


  • Ensure PR initiatives align with brand governance while maximizing impact.


  • Curate supporting materials such as brand guidelines and positioning documents.


  • Share best practices and build effective audience development initiatives within the team and across the portfolio.


  • Lead brand and portfolio initiatives, including rebranding efforts and sustainability campaigns.


  • Foster relationships with partners to improve TOF capabilities.


  • Act as the voice of the brands, leading change management and portfolio advocacy.


Qualifications:


  • Strong analytical mindset with a proven ability to drive audience growth and engagement.


  • Experience leading brand and content strategy for large organizations, particularly in the tech or events sectors.


  • Excellent leadership skills with a track record of motivating and developing high-performing teams.


  • Strong communication and influencing abilities to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.


  • Deep understanding of industry trends, challenges, and opportunities.


  • Passionate about creating engaging content across multiple platforms and channels.


  • Data-driven approach to content strategy, with the ability to measure and optimize content effectiveness.


  • Creative and innovative mindset, open to experimenting with new approaches.


  • Solid understanding of digital channels and their role in B2B marketing, including SEO, PPC, content marketing, social media, and email marketing.


  • Ability to lead complex brand and marketing initiatives, including C-suite client management and agency partnerships.


  • Proven ability to deliver commercial success, meeting key performance indicators (KPIs) and business goals.


  • Interest in emerging technologies and a commitment to staying ahead of industry trends.


  • Experience with digital public relations, influencer collaborations, and reputation management.


  • 10+ years of experience in brand and digital marketing, with a strong background in evolving a brand from growth to maturity.
