Job Description


Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in nursing.
7 years of experience in the same Field and 3 years in same position as head nurse .
Master’s or diploma in Management is preferable.
Dataflow is a must.
Saudi license holder is a plus.
Fluent in English.

  Job description and responsibilities

Supervise and mentor endoscopy nursing staff, promoting a positive work environment.
Provide expert nursing care to patients undergoing endoscopic procedures.
Oversee daily unit activities, including scheduling, staffing, and resource allocation.
Develop and implement quality initiatives, monitoring patient satisfaction and outcomes.
Create and update policies, procedures, and guidelines for the endoscopy unit.
Coordinate staff education, orientation, and competency assessment.
Ensure adherence to infection control, sedation management, and emergency protocols.
Collaborate with physicians, other departments, and patients' families.
Manage unit budget, supplies, and equipment.
Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements (e.g., Joint Commission,..).
Conduct staff evaluations, providing constructive feedback.
Identify and mitigate potential risks, reporting incidents and near misses.
Supervise and mentor nursing staff, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations.
Develop and implement nursing policies and procedures to enhance patient care and operational efficiency.
Foster a collaborative and supportive work environment.
Ensure the delivery of high-quality, compassionate care to patients undergoing endoscopic procedures.
Conduct pre-procedural assessments and post-procedural evaluations.
Educate patients and families about procedures, risks, and post-care instructions.
Manage daily unit operations, including scheduling, staffing, and resource allocation.
Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and accreditation requirements.
Monitor and maintain equipment and supplies necessary for endoscopy procedures.
Analyze patient care data and outcomes to identify trends and areas for improvement.
Participate in clinical audits and accreditation processes.
Work closely with gastroenterologists, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient care plans and unit performance.
Provide ongoing education and training for nursing staff on endoscopic procedures and best practices.
Stay current with advances in endoscopy and nursing practices through continuing education.
