Job Summary

• Identify, propose, execute and replicate the cost effective measures in manufacturing functions across entire vertical to meet the AOP targets on top line and bottom line.
• Bringing manufacturing excellence and continual improvement across all sites through TPM, Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, optimization of cost and innovation and quality management systems and Lead factory teams on the core aspects of Manufacturing (Production and Maintenance),R&D and Quality.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver on the overall profitability of the assigned Business vertical to meet AOP targets through reduction in product formulation cost, conversion cost and FOH.
• Responsible for Improving quality, yields and efficiencies across all sites.
• Execution of new projects/product developments and new technologies across entire Business Group.
• Engaging with marketing and customers for new business opportunities; co-ordination on necessary approvals/site clearance/technological challenges.
• Identification and recommendations to BUs and Business Group management committee on cost optimization, productivity and quality improvement, manufacturing excellence and execution of the agreed proposals
• Developing and executing long term manufacturing strategies for various sites.

• Profitability of all BU of the Business Vertical as per AOP targets.
• Customer perceived Quality Index
• OTIFQ of NPDs, OTIF of new projects across all sites.
• Manufacturing Excellence through TPM and other initiatives
• HSE targets

Work experience requirement

20 years plus experinece in manufacturing from FMCG industries.

Qualification

• Bachelor and Master of Engineering, Technology from a reputed university.
• Certification in performance improvement and manufacturing excellence related areas would be advantage.
