Job Description

  • Collaborating with the front-of-house team to provide an excellent dining experience for customers.
  • Conducting regular inventory audits to ensure that there is sufficient stock of all necessary ingredients and supplies.
  • Developing and implementing cost-saving measures, such as streamlining menu offerings and optimizing ingredient usage.
  • Creating and implementing training programs to ensure that all employees are properly trained in their roles.

Skills

  • Must have a good understanding of the business side of running a restaurant, including inventory management, food costs, and profit margins.
  • Must have the ability to delegate tasks efficiently and manage time effectively to ensure the smooth running of the kitchen.
  • Have a keen sense of taste and smell, and be able to adjust seasoning and flavors to achieve the desired taste.
  • Demonstrate strong conflict resolution skills and be able to handle customer complaints and other issues in a professional and effective manner.
