Job Description

Job Overview: An experienced Head Chef is sought to drive the establishment of a new restaurant in Riyadh as part of a group strategy to open new high volume restaurants in the region. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and leading the kitchen team, overseeing the preparation, cooking, and presentation of dishes to company standards, while adhering to strict health and hygiene regulations.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Manage and lead a kitchen team of 12-14 staff members
  • Oversee food preparation, cooking, and presentation processes
  • Maintain high standards in food quality and presentation
  • Implement and monitor health, safety, and hygiene practices
  • Control kitchen costs by minimizing spoilage, waste, and exercising portion control
  • Create menu items, recipes, and develop dishes as required
  • Forecast weekly food and beverage costs
  • Manage purchasing and supplier relationships
  • Recruit, train, and develop kitchen staff
  • Prepare rosters and ensure proper staffing for all shifts
  • Collaborate with the UK team on creative functions and menus
