GRC Consultant

I am looking for an experienced GRC Consultant to join my client on an initial 12-month contract. You will play a key role in ensuring that our organization remains compliant with regulatory standards, manages risks effectively, and adheres to corporate governance principles.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement governance frameworks to align business operations with regulatory requirements and corporate objectives.
• Identify, assess, and manage risks, creating and implementing mitigation strategies to minimize potential impacts.
• Ensure compliance with relevant laws, industry standards, and internal policies, conducting audits and recommending necessary improvements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive risk and compliance initiatives across the organization.
• Monitor and report on emerging regulations and changes in the compliance landscape.
• Provide expert advice and support to senior management on risk and compliance matters.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in GRC, compliance, risk management, or a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of relevant regulations (e.g., GDPR, SOX, ISO standards).
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to assess complex risks and compliance issues.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to develop and implement policies and procedures that enhance corporate governance and compliance efforts.
