The Government Relations Specialist will play a vital role in ensuring compliance with policies and regulations, as well as advocating for favorable legislative outcomes.
Responsibilities:
- Advocacy and Representation: Act as the primary liaison between the organization and government officials, advocating for policies that align with the organization’s objectives.
- Policy Analysis: Monitor and analyze Saudi laws, regulations, and policies relevant to the organization, providing insights and recommendations to senior management.
- Government Portal Proficiency: Utilize government portals effectively for submissions, tracking applications, and staying updated on regulatory changes.
- Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including government officials, regulatory agencies, and industry groups.
- Compliance Oversight: Ensure adherence to all relevant Saudi laws and regulations, advising on compliance requirements and implications of new policies.
- Research and Reporting: Conduct thorough research on legislative developments and prepare comprehensive reports and briefing materials for internal stakeholders.
- Coalition Building: Collaborate with other organizations and coalitions to promote shared interests and objectives in public policy.
- Event Coordination: Organize meetings, forums, and events to engage with policymakers and communicate the organization’s positions effectively
