ROLE: Government Affairs Manager (Saudi Nationals only by law)

WHAT WE EXPECT OF YOU:
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Visa & Team Member Documentation Management
- Coordinate with the Government Relations Officer and Recruitment Officer for the issuance and cancellation of team member visas.
- Schedule and facilitate medical examinations for new team members within one week of their joining date.
- Oversee and manage the Emirates ID issuance process for all team members.
- Ensure timely collection of passports from PROs of other companies and handle lifting of labor/immigration bans when necessary.
Passport & Documentation Tracking
- Take sole responsibility for tracking and managing the release and receipt of team member passports.
- Assist in issuing Arabic letters for team members as requested.
Support to People & Culture & Administrative Tasks
- Collaborate with the People & Culture team to assist with administrative tasks as needed.
- Keep the Director of People & Culture informed of significant developments within the hotel operations to maintain transparency and minimize misunderstandings.
Compliance & Standards Adherence
- Stay familiar with company documentation and ensure adherence to operational standards relevant to the role.
- Maintain accurate records and comply with all applicable government regulations and hotel policies.
General Responsibilities
- Provide timely updates to management regarding government-related processes.
- Demonstrate professionalism and discretion in handling sensitive information.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Public Relations, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in government relations, visa processing, or a similar role within the hospitality industry or a multinational organization.
- Strong knowledge of Saudi labor laws, immigration regulations, and government processes.
- Excellent communication skills in both Arabic and English, with the ability to draft official documents in Arabic.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with visa management systems and government portals.
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills, with attention to detail.
- Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with the utmost professionalism.
- Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, including government officials.
- Flexibility and adaptability to meet the dynamic needs of the role.
