ROLES AND RESPONSBILITIES
• Candidate must have an experience of testing and commissioning of Electrical systems
up to 380kV
• A strong bias towards Electrical Safety in delivering power to system based operations
• Overseeing sub-EPC plan, switching plan for Pre-Commissioning and commissioning
activities.
• Coordinating with other disciplines to ensure integration of systems for commissioning
activity.
• Comprehensive knowledge and training in the safety work permits, preparing JSA, risk
assessment, method statement and lock-out tag-out procedure.
• Knowledge of electronic Project Completion Systems & Subsystems, Pre-Commissioning
ITRs, construction system handover walk-down inspection etc.
• Witnessing the Sub Contractor and vendor testing & Pre-Commissioning activities.
• Knowledgeable, with proven track record in CVT/UPS commissioning and testing.
• Knowledgeable, with proven track record in electrical systems earth testing, loop
checking and LV/MV/HV motor solo runs.
• Knowledgeable, with proven track record in relay testing, relay final setting verification,
Transformer mechanical trip test, transformer energization, Switch gear energization etc.
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILL SETS
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in the electrical testing and commissioning field.
• Should have Degree with relevant experience in Electrical Engineering with appropriate
field experience in Commissioning
• Field experience on electrical equipment testing and commissioning of GIS, HV & LV
switch gear MV and LV motor and relevant protection, and protection relay testing, power
transformer testing etc.
• Knowledge of electrical equipment installation, testing and commissioning.
• Hands-on experience of using testing tools and equipment - secondary injection kit, earth
tester, HV insulation tester, VLF test kit etc.
• Field experience and knowledge of PDC energization requirements
• Knowledge of EPMS systems and programming
• Knowledge of SCADA and SAS systems
