General Manager – Catering Dubai
We have been retained by this well-established Contract Caterer to find them a GM for this cutting edge site to be launched later in the year!
Such an exciting job role and you will be responsible for directing & controlling the day-to-day catering operations and give strategic guidance & direction to ensure that the company achieves its mission and objectives!
Experience, skills & attributes needed for this role:
- Currently managing the catering facility for a top Independent School at a similar level or number 2, ready for their next step in their career
- Experience in the Education sector hugely beneficial
- Able to manage and inspire large teams of staff
- Must be able to develop and manage relationships with stakeholders and clients
- Demonstrate experience in developing strategic and business plans
- Thorough knowledge of market changes and forces that influence the business
- Strong understanding of finance and measures of performance
- Familiarity with legislation affecting education food business and best practices
- Excellent organisational and leadership skills
- Strong communication, interpersonal and presentation skills
- Outstanding analytical and problem solving abilities
Salary package: Negotiable for the right person plus family benefits including schooling allowances
