As a General Accountant, you play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial operations within the company. Your responsibilities focus on maintaining precise financial records, analyzing financial data, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements. You will be involved in financial reporting, budgeting, and VAT compliance, supporting the company's financial health and operational efficiency.


Key Accountabilities
  • Conduct a comprehensive analysis of all financial data related to company operations.


  • Review and scrutinize financial reports for accuracy and compliance.


  • Record all revenues, costs, and expenses with precision.


  • Ensure invoices are prepared correctly and aligned with contract terms.


  • Maintain accurate backup records of accounting books.


  • Provide management with insights into the company’s financial status and budgeting needs.


  • Recommend financial strategies and present them to the board.


  • Prepare and submit VAT returns via the Zakat, Tax, and Customs Authority portal.


  • Review monthly payroll and manage salary disbursement processes.


  • Establish cost centers for company projects and monitor financial performance.


  • Ensure compliance with VAT regulations and financial laws applicable to the healthcare insurance sector.


Knowledge, Skills, and Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.


  • Minimum 6years of experience in financial analysis, preferably in the healthcare or insurance industry.


  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.


  • Proficiency in financial software and Excel.


  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.


  • Ability to work both independently and within a team.


  • Knowledge of insurance accounting standards and VAT compliance.
