General Accountant

The General Accountant plays a crucial role in the financial health of the organization, particularly in the Food & Beverage Production and FMCG sectors. This position requires a detail-oriented and analytical individual who can manage financial records, ensure compliance with regulations, and provide insightful financial analysis. The General Accountant will work closely with other departments to support business objectives and contribute to the overall success of the company.

Responsibilities:

1. Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with accounting standards.
2. Prepare monthly financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
3. Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts.
4. Conduct regular audits of financial data to identify discrepancies and ensure accuracy.
5. Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections.
6. Collaborate with internal teams to provide financial insights that support strategic decision-making.
7. Prepare tax returns and ensure compliance with local tax regulations.
8. Assist in the development and implementation of financial policies and procedures.
9. Provide support during external audits and liaise with auditors as necessary.
