Job Description

  • Lead the development, and maintenance of the gateways applications (Payments, Notification Center & E-invoice) based on collected requirements and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices
  • Provide consultation (when required) to business stakeholders & business analysts during the requirements gathering phase, by providing technical inputs
  • Act as a technical project manager responsible for the gateways applications project planning (finalizing scope, timelines and deliverables), execution (tracking project tasks), and sign-off
  • Collaborate with project delivery and control experts to manage the projects, including scoping, resource allocation, budget and progress tracking
  • Collaborate with the application teams and the Digital Design Experience team to establish consistent design patterns, interface elements, and user experience principles across gateways applications
  • Identify new or additional software technologies to fit specialized business needs and configurations of the gateways applications
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation for the gateways applications, including user guides, technical specifications, and system design
  • Collaborate with the Information Security team to ensure that the gateways applications is compliant with the NWC’s Information Security practices and standards
  • Monitor and optimize the performance of the gateways applications, resolve bottlenecks and ensure scalability for future growth
  • Collaborate with cross-functional IT teams to ensure effective integration and data exchange of the gateways applications with other NWC applications
  • Collaborate with third-party vendors and software providers for application integration, upgrades, and support
  • Oversee the creation of low-level design of the gateways applications in alignment with the HLD prepared by Solution Architects, and ensure compliance with enterprise architecture principles
  • Collaborate with the quality assurance team in understanding and validating defects, debugging, resolving issues, and documenting the resolutions
  • Provide support to production support service requests and perform routine maintenance and support activities, ensuring timely response and resolution
  • Carry out any other tasks requested by the direct manager or the superior that are within the limits of the job, provided that this task does not make a fundamental difference in the basic tasks of the job
