VML is a global marketing agency that thrives on creating culturally relevant and impactful work. We are looking for a passionate and creative Content Planner (Freelance) to join our team in KSA. This role will be responsible for developing engaging and effective social media content strategies for our clients.
Responsibilities:
Content Strategy Development: + Develop comprehensive social media content strategies aligned with client objectives, brand guidelines, and target audience insights.
+ Conduct thorough social listening and competitive analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and best practices.
+ Define content pillars, themes, and formats that resonate with the target audience and drive engagement.
+ Create detailed content calendars outlining publishing schedules, content types, and platform distribution.
Creative Ideation: + Brainstorm and develop innovative and engaging content ideas across various formats, including text, images, videos, GIFs, stories, and interactive elements.
+ Collaborate with internal creative teams (copywriters, designers, video editors) to ensure high-quality content production aligned with the strategy.
+ Stay updated on emerging social media trends, platforms, and technologies to continuously innovate content approaches.
Data Analysis & Reporting: + Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure content effectiveness, audience engagement, and campaign performance.
+ Generate regular reports with actionable insights to optimize content strategy and demonstrate return on investment (ROI).
+ Utilize social media analytics tools to gather data and extract meaningful insights.
Client Communication: + Present content strategies, calendars, and reports to clients in a clear and concise manner.
+ Collaborate effectively with clients to understand their needs, gather feedback, and ensure alignment throughout the content creation process.
Desired Skills and Experiences:
3+ years of experience in social media content planning or a related field. Proven track record of developing and executing successful social media content strategies. Deep understanding of social media platforms (Instagram, X, Snapchat, TikTok, etc.) and their respective algorithms. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and extract actionable insights. Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Fluency in Arabic and English is essential.
Other:
This is a freelance position with the possibility of extension based on performance and project needs. Candidates must have a strong portfolio showcasing their content planning experience. Experience working with clients in the KSA market is a plus.
