Overview: As the Associate Director for Facility Management Consulting Services, you will lead the full cycle of strategy FM consulting projects from lead engagement until successful project completion, those include but are not limited to projects that focus on operational and FM strategies, implementation plans, and implementation plans. Your role is pivotal in delivering technically sound, sustainable, and operationally efficient consulting solutions to our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
Leadership and Portfolio Management: Lead the facility management strategy consulting portfolio, directing its strategic path in collaboration with the HOD to achieve business objectives and ensure operational excellence. Continually refine strategies to enhance service delivery, operational efficiency, and client satisfaction, ensuring alignment with broader business goals.
Financial and Project Management:
Oversee the financial aspects of projects within the portfolio, including budgeting, and forecasting. Implement rigorous project management frameworks to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality. Manage resource allocation effectively, ensuring optimal deployment of personnel and resources for the most efficient execution of projects.
Client Engagement and Relationship Management:
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients by understanding their unique needs and consistently communicating project progress, addressing feedback, and aligning services to enhance satisfaction. Develop strategies to effectively gauge and meet client expectations, ensuring project alignment and proactive service delivery.
Business Development :
Proactively engage with clients to identify new business opportunities, developing tailored solutions and compelling proposals that enhance client Continuously analyze market trends and client needs to develop and integrate new services that improve client satisfaction and increase revenue.
Operational Excellence and Process Improvement:
Streamline operations and enhance project management by optimizing workflows, standardizing documentation, and building a central repository for easier resource access. Develop and maintain a strategy consulting toolbox to uphold best practices and support innovative solutions in facility management. Establish a core structure with champions for each service vertical to promote specialization and growth. Actively identify and mitigate bottlenecks and inefficiencies to improve project delivery.
Team Leadership and Development:
Oversee the team's performance cycle, mentor members, and facilitate skill exchanges to enhance cross-functional expertise. Foster a culture of accountability and innovation, setting clear performance standards and supporting team growth and retention. ideas and improvements forward.
Experience:
Proven Track Record: 8 to 15 years of professional experience, ideally encompassing both consulting roles and facility management. Experience in leading projects for prestigious clients within consulting businesses is highly advantageous.
Portfolio Management: Demonstrated experience managing a portfolio, driving business growth, and overseeing profit and loss P&L.
Client Relations: Advanced client relationship management, communication, and presentation skills.
Technical Expertise:
+ Extensive experience developing benchmarking studies, operating models, operational strategies, change management and implementation plans.+ Experience in leading consulting services, understanding and mapping clients and project stakeholder requirements into actionable strategies.
+ Solid experience in energy management, sustainability solutions, and technology integration into facility management operations.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor of Science in Engineering; an MBA is advantageous.
Certifications: Facility management certifications, such as CFM or equivalent, are highly desirable.
Consulting Skills: Demonstrated ability to manage large, complex consulting engagements with strong stakeholder management, project management, and financial oversight capabilities.
Interpersonal and Leadership Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, capable of effectively working with teams and leading executive-level client presentations.
Client-Focused Achievements: A proven track record of developing solutions focused on client needs and effectively managing client relationships at the executive level.
