1. Directs
maintenance and staff activities engaged in maintenance planning, inspection, repair,
and servicing of assigned aircraft and associated support equipment.
2. Plans
and schedules work assignments, workloads, and maintenance procedures.
3.
Analyzes reports and maintenance plans to determine requirements for
specialists.
4.
Coordinates with supply, operations and other maintenance activities to improve
procedures and resolve problems.
5.
Maintain, complete and process Personnel Management Reports such as Attendance
Reports, Medical Excuses and Time Sheets.
6. The
Flight Superintendent position is a management position wherein the duties
trend towards dealing with personnel issues.
1. Requires
a minimum of 10 years’ experience in AFSC 43171/452XX/2A373A, or equivalent
maintenance specialty, of which two years must have been associated with F-15
system support.
2.
Qualification as an F-15 Aircraft Maintenance Specialist is mandatory.
3. In
addition, a minimum of two (2) year experience in performing or supervising
functions such as installation, repair, and modification or overhaul of
aircraft, aircraft systems and components is mandatory.
4. Must
have in-depth knowledge of policies and procedures relating to aircraft safety
and training.
5. Must
be proficient in communications skills necessary to write reports and conduct
on the job training.
6. Must
have skills necessary to plan and schedule assigned resources to ensure
aircraft are available to meet operational requirements.
