Job Description

Overall Purpose


The Fire Protection Section Head is responsible for overseeing all firefighting operations and activities in the facility. They are responsible for ensuring the safety of individuals and property through the implementation of fire prevention programs, conducting awareness courses and trainings, and organizing drills for employees and contractors.


Key Accountabilities


  • Manage and direct the firefighting team, including staff training and performance evaluation.
  • Develop and implement fire drills, plans, and emergency response procedures.
  • Supervise firefighting and life-saving operations in emergency situations.
  • Ensure continuous maintenance and readiness of firefighting equipment.
  • Conduct periodic inspections of buildings and facilities to ensure compliance with fire safety standards.
  • Develop and implement awareness programs for employees and contractors on fire prevention.
  • Coordinate with government agencies and bodies concerned with fire safety.
  • Prepare and manage the department's budget, develop manuals, oversee contracts, and create performance reports.
  • Analyze fire-related data and statistics to improve preventive strategies.
  • Participate in investigations related to the causes of fires and provide recommendations to prevent recurrence.
  • Review and approve consultancy studies for fire protection systems.

Job Requirements


  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Fire Safety Management, or a related field.
  • +10 Years of experience.
