Job Description
Job Purpose / Objective
Responsible for Installing, programing, configuring, commissioning, maintaining, trouble shooting, performing diagnostics, and repairing of fire alarm systems and fire suppression systems as per the set guideline.
Key Responsibilities / Accountabilities
- Check fire alarm systems including smoke detectors, sprinkler systems, and other fire suppression equipment.
- Inspect buildings for fire hazards such as blocked exits or malfunctioning equipment.
- Review electrical layout blueprints to determine whether a building's fire alarm systems.
- Review electrical layout blueprints to determine whether a building's fire alarm systems.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Support the review of electrical layout blueprints to determine building's fire alarm systems.
- Respond to fire alarms and emergency calls to determine the source of the fire, whether it be smoke or a malfunctioning system.
- Maintain records of fire alarm system activity and other fire safety measures in buildings.
- Regularly test and repair fire alarm systems and communication systems.
- Identify and repair malfunctions in system components or wiring, including identifying and installing replacement parts as necessary.
- Participate in person-centered care initiatives undertaken by HMG.
- Enrich patient experience with compassion, respect and dignity.
- Perform all other tasks/duties assigned within the realm of his/her knowledge, skills and abilities.
Education/ Professional Qualification
Experience
- At least two (2) years’ experience in the same field.
