Responsible for daily financial and accounting of the business
• Responsible for budgeting and costing control
• Responsible for costing and pricing of stock items, including in-progress and finished products
• Analyze and report on project and product costing/ sales.
• Create cost of production, variety wise cost, location wise cost, project wise cost.
• Interpret the statistical and accounting information to appraise operating results in terms of cost, budgets, and policies of operation, trends and increased profit possibilities
• Develop accounting and financial management systems and reports
• Analyze and interpret monthly operating or project performance against budget
• Develop and maintain accounting policies and procedures, ensuring appropriate internal controls
• Manage all accounting operations including Billing, A/R, A/P, GL, Cost Accounting, Inventory Accounting and Revenue Recognition
• Month-end and year-end close process
• Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting
• Manage and comply with the government reporting requirements and Tax filings
• Monitor and review monthly TAX report. VAT, WHT, ZAKAT.
• Dealing with the bank, online banking, LC, bank guarantee …
• Liaising with external auditors and actively participate in the audit process until its completion and filing with authorities.
• Make scenarios and simulation on cost, volume profitability and break-even analysis
• Good knowledge of export and import formalities
• Practical knowledge in Cash flow management in best- and worst-case scenarios.
• Ability to determine costs based on activities, job as well as standard costing techniques.
• Regularly produce monthly MIS pack for management that is useful for decision making in addition to regular reports such as Balance sheet, income statement, cash flow statement etc.
Accounting and Financial Reporting: In-depth knowledge of accounting principles (GAAP/IFRS), financial reporting, and financial statement preparation.
Budgeting and Forecasting: Proficiency in preparing budgets, financial forecasts, and variance analysis.
Financial Analysis: Ability to analyze financial data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
Tax Compliance: Understanding of tax laws and regulations to ensure compliance and optimize tax liabilities.
Internal Controls: Knowledge of internal control systems to safeguard company assets and ensure the accuracy of financial records.
ERP Systems: Proficiency in enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems and financial software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks).
Regulatory Knowledge: Awareness of financial regulations and compliance requirements relevant to the industry.
