A prominent, growth-oriented company specialising in advanced water and wastewater treatment solutions, with expertise in desalination, sewage treatment, and industrial water management across the Middle East. Positioned for significant expansion, the company is preparing for an IPO, focusing on robust financial controls, compliance, and operational excellence to support its strategic goals in a highly regulated industry.

Description




Compliance and Internal Controls: Establish and maintain internal control frameworks to ensure adherence to corporate policies and regulatory standards, including overseeing the delegation of authority.

Taxation and Regulatory Compliance: Manage all aspects of taxation, ensuring accurate, timely filings and ongoing compliance with local tax authority regulations.

Financial Reporting and Audit Management: Lead accurate financial reporting, prepare documentation for audits, and liaise with the audit committee to ensure transparency and compliance with financial standards.

Operations Oversight: Supervise an Accounting Manager and Finance Manager, overseeing accounts payable, accounts receivable, reconciliations, and financial analysis to drive efficiency and best practices.

IPO Preparation: Drive the finance team's readiness for IPO, ensuring internal controls, financial reporting, and compliance measures meet public listing requirements.




Profile


The successful candidate will be a highly qualified finance professional with at least 10 years of experience in financial control, compliance, and reporting, ideally holding certifications such as CPA, SOCPA, CA, or ACCA. They will have proven expertise in taxation, financial reporting, and internal control frameworks, with familiarity in Saudi regulations and experience liaising with audit committees and boards. Experience with SAP and a background in a Big 4 firm or equivalent exposure in Saudi Arabia are strong advantages, along with a demonstrated ability to lead and guide a high-performing team toward IPO readiness and operational excellence.
