About the Job
As a part of the Middle Finance Team, the Financial Accountant will be responsible for providing support to the Finance Manager and wider business in the areas of financial accounting, reporting, reviews, internal audits and internal governance/business controls.
Key responsibilities and duties are listed, but not limited to, the below:
Accounts Payable
Working through our Financial Shared Services Function in India to ensure accurate and timely processing of all invoices from vendors and for undertaking the payment of all creditors in accordance with the contracted terms with vendors.
Liaise with vendors and suppliers regarding onboarding documentation, purchase orders, contracts, invoices, statements, payments etc.
Accounts Receivable
Working through our Financial Shared Services Function in India to ensure accurate and efficient processing of invoices to customers and monitoring incoming payments, and securing revenue by verifying and posting receipts.
Liaise with customers regarding purchase orders, contracts, invoices, statements, payments etc.
Treasury/Cash
Reviewing the reconciliation of bank statements and accounts to ensure correct posting of all transactions and assist with clearing any reconciling items.
Taxation/regulatory
Production of tax returns for the entities in Saudi inc. coordination of any tax, statutory, and internal audits / assessments.
Co-ordinate project and country compliance with Group Directives including insurances, trade licenses and registrations as required.

Candidate Specifications:
Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Finance and Accounting; professional qualifications within accountancy will be an added advantage
Conversant in the use of Microsoft products and experience in other ERP systems
Willingness to study for professional accountancy exams or part qualified.
Proven ability to produce accurate management reports to tight deadlines.
Willingness to undertake business travel as required around the GCC and India.
Flexibility to work longer hours at peak times as required.
